Thomas Canoe, is charged with car theft in connection w ith the Dec. 9 slaying of 40 - year-old Burnell Malone of Ponder.Malone was shot to death in Justin after he and the two col lectors allegedly argued over the collectors’ repossession of Malone's son - in - law’s car.Lumpkins and Ganoe are in Denton County jail awaiting a bond hearing Friday before 16th District j Judge Jack Gray.No other cases will be presented to the grand jury Thursday.WEATIIEK on the half hour KDNT 1440.
