(lity Truck, Auto Involved in ( rash Near IntersectionA 1949 sedan driven by a War-rent motorist and a Bradford citystreet department cinder truck were involved in an accident about150 feet from the Congress St. ext., and South Bradford intersection a: 7:50 p m. yesterday, according to an investigation made by Bradford Township police.Lt. Francis Elrod and Patrolman Mendell Cawley of the township police stated that the sedan was driven by Joe O. Duffield, 1303 Pennsylvania Ave , Warren, andhe city cinder truck by Burdette R. Morris Jr., of B6 Forman St.Mr- Duffield told the investigating officers he was proceeding north towards Bradford and had Just turned at the fork of the highway into Congress St. ext., wdven he noticed the cinder truck approaching from a cutoff strip connecting onto Congress St. Mr. Duffield said he applied his brakes and in doing so slid on the icy highway into the back wheels ofthe truck.Neither operator was injured. Approximately $150 damage to Mr.Duff.eld's car was reported. Nodamage w!as estimated to the truck
