Buffalo Attorney Hired In Effort to Sava Convicted KillerAlbion, —UP)—A Buffalo attorney today was hired by a group of Orleans county residents In their attempt to save Lloyd Inman, convicted slayer of his,father-in-law, from the electric chair.A committee formed af ter Inman’s conviction Dec. 3 announced It had engaged David A. White to appeal the conviction and seek a re-trial.The Rev. Earle I. Hamlin of the Albion Presby.teriaxv church, who presided at a meeting of the committee last night said the group had collected $1,287 in Its fight to save Inman from a sentence believed by many of ■the county's residents to be too severe. Inman faces death during the week of Jan. 16.During the murder trial earlier this month. White defended Miss Virginia Ostrander, charged with Inman with murdering William Larson while the latter was on his way home from work at the Batavia veterans hospital. Miss Ostrander was adjudged insane and was committed to the Rochester state hospital.'
