S. routeone between Biddeford and Ken-nebunk.The. escapees, John B. Fournier,24, of Portland and William L.Lee, 19. of South Portland told officers they spent last night in a freight car at Portland’s Union station. They said they were bound for Massachusetts, the yotrths told police.Capture of Fournier and Lee brought to three those apprehended.Deputy sheriffs searched the Se-bago lakes area for the other fugitives, and checked breaks at a Westbrook garage and a West Falmouth railroad tool shed for further clews.Ernest A, Kirk, 26, of Malden,Mass., surrendered at police headquarters shortly after 1.45 a. m. today. He said that the six had separated on the Eastern promenade in Municipal park about half a mile from the jail. Kirk hid in bushes there, he said, but was forced to give up by the cold and pain from an old groininjury.ShcnfT Philip M.
