The Kratzer case which has created so much interest, in Peru, has been venucd from the Miami county court and was yesterday filed on the entry docket of the Cass circuit court. This case involves a large fortune left by J. C. Kratzer of Peru and is entitled.; Levi A. Barnett, administrator of the estate of Elizabeth Mayer, deceased, VS- Sarah Kratzer et al. heirs of the late J. C. Kratzer. Rea^oner and O’Hara, of Peru and McConnell, Jen-klnes and Jenkines of this city will an-pear for the plaintiff. In the complaint filed here the plaintiff avers that Frederick Kratzer died at Helena, Monr.., in July, 1887, and that at a consultation of the heirs held at Peru at the time J. C. Kratzer wits sent to settle up the estate. He returned ill due time with the statement, that there was no estate but at his death in 1S97 it divulged that he loft an enormous estate. The exact amount of the estate was not known until the administratorof the estate tiled his final report twoyears itftor the death of .r. C. Kratzer. The heirs then brought suit to secure a share of what they termed was the-estate left by Frederick Kratzer and j which they avorert had been used by \ J. C, Kratzer for his own purposes. In their complaint they demand 5?bV 000. A heated legal controversy arose over the suit both from its uiiirpionoss and from thn fa el that the heirs did not file their claim until after the final report.
