Supreme Cocrt.—Ou Monday the Court was engaged in trying the Springfield case— brought by Mrs. Elizabeth Ycndon against Nicholas Power. It was un action of Trespass, what the Lawyers teim, quare clausum fregil. for ctrtinu down and earning away wood from (off the Plaintiffs land. There was nothingdefinite proved as to the quantity of wood cut; but the several witnesses stated there must have been from one to two hundred cords appropriated In the Defendant to hi-* own use.
