McFarland on Dewey French, charged with having assisted his brother, Charles French, to escape from the institution recently,Charles French is serving a prison sentence for attempted robbery in Yuma county. He succeeded in escaping from the prison and joined his brother, heading eastward in the latteris car. The pair was captured soon after, however, near Safford.Charles Harris, 39 years old, was given a one to 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to participating 10 days ago in the robbery of a Casa Grande store.After entering his plea, Harris told Judge McFarland his right name was Luther Ennis and that he had escaped in March, 1936, from the state prison of Virginia in which he was serving a 21-year sentence for robbery..
