John and Gus Mailander over at Dana are madder than fighting bull dogs. A few days ago they butchered a big, fat hog and then laid it in one | of the outbuildings for over night But during the night hungry miscreants came along and took away all j but a few pieces. Others in the ( neighborhood lost poultry the same night. Now in that vicinity everything good to eat is kept under lock and key and a loaded shotgun is the j chief ornament of the ! rd rooms.— Minonk News-Dispatch.
