Raiding Constable Killed Near HomePittsburgh. Pa., Dec. 13.—(IP)— The underworld of the borough of Wilmerding has voiced its disapproval of the activities of its “raiding constable’' by murdering him. Harry J. Davenport. 58. chief of the Westinghouse Air Brake company’s police force of 100 men and a constable of AVilmerding, was shot and killed at nildnight in front of his home. A shotgun was found nearby and indications were that the murderer had fired from a passing motor car.
