Shoplifters Get Fines In City Sessions CourtThursday's docket in Kingsport General Sessions Courl was taken up mostly with shoplifting cases. She indicated she won hi appeal the decision.[n a companion case, a shoplifting charge against Geraldine P. Yanccy. 30. of Rl. 3, Johnson City, was dismissed. Matney. 53, of 1209 Willow St., was bound over to the Grand Jury on a charge that she shoplifted eye shadow valued at $1.29 from Kroger's on Slone Drive Dec. 5/Kenny Ray Taylor, 20. of RL 2, Big Slone Gap, was fined $50 and placed on probation for six months fur shoplifting a pair of shoes worth $19.25 from Hill’s Department Store Dec. 1.In other courl action, James E. Stone. 375 Glenn Ave., was sentenced to 11 months. 29 days in jail ar.d fined $50 and costs for assault. He is accused of stealing a car from Alley Plymouth on Stone Drive.Jane E. Goodwin, no address listed, was hound over on a charge of interfering with a police officer.In a companion case. Allen P. Blye. 21, of 3H Dunbar St., was bound over for carrying arms, resisting arrest and driving with only nnc tail light.Larry Dean Doss, Bristol, Va., was bound nvrr on a had check charge.Marco A. Sabata, 32, of lit. 10, Summerville Rd.. was hound to the Grand Jury for attempting to commit a felony. lie is charged with trying to steal a color TV and a stereo from Lowe s Nov. 8.An assault and battery charge filed against George W.
