Twuths Held In DeathCOf Beckley Man’s FatherFrank Ellison, 54-year-old tavernoperator of Gordon in Boone County, was fatally shot Thursdaynight by a blast from a 12 guageshot-gun.The slain man was the father of Frank Ellison, attorney of Bock-ley, who was released from theBeckley Hospital Friday morning where he had been treated for injuries sustained in an automobile wreck several weeks ago. TheBeckley man is employed as an assistant to Hal Scott, secretary of the New River Operators’ Association.Two 18-vear-old youths are in jail at Madison, one charged withmurder in the slaying of Ellison | in his establishment 14 miles southeast of Madison. |The youths. Eugene Jarrell ofj Gordon and James Corbett Lehman of Bob White, were arrested by state police about two hours after the shooting at a road blockLehman, Williams said, wascharged with being an accessory both before and after the facteven though it was indicated he did not participate in the shooting.A motive for the slaying has not , been established definitely.
