The Collier ( minty Sheriff's department accused the three of stealing a car engine worth $450.In July, Hendry was arrested for burglary. He later pleaded guilty on Nov. facing five years in prison, was given probation for three yearsA condition of Ins remaining free was that he stay out of trouble.DAVID A. SMITH, chief of the local probation office, said it is normal procedure to seek to revoke the probation of a probationer who has been arrested on a new charge.Hendry, should his probation be revoked by a judge, faces five years in prison on the old charge even if he isn’t convicted of the new one. On the new charge, he faces another five years.Although a $2,500 bond has been set on the charge, state law provides that probationers arrested on new charges can be held in jail without bond for up to 10 davs.Hendry remains in jail: the two suspects arrested with him have posted bond arid beenreleased.
