Derber Murder Trial to Start Tuesday MorningOSHKOSH — The first degree | murder trial of Richard Derber,21, Oshkosh, will begin at 9-30 a.m. Tuesday before Municipal Judge Arnold J. Cane.Derber shot and killed his estranged wife, Judith, 20, shortly after midnight Aug. 31. He has pleaded innocent and innocent by reason of temporary insanity to the first degree murder charge. -In an unusual move, Derber waived jury trial at his arraignment and Judge Cane will rule on Berber’s guilt or innocence.
