TEACHER SHOT; WIFE IS HELDVERDICT OF SUICIDE WITH-,, DRAWN AFTER CORONER ' SAYS BULLET HIT ^ BACK OF NECK.I CALDWELL, O, Dec. 11—Cor-loner U. B. Brubach of Noble county withdrew the verdict of suicide in connection with’ the death of Clarence Wickham. 35-year-old i school teacher this afternoon and I began an Investigation of a theory that the man had been’murdered.His wife. Mrs. Ivy Wickham, 32.. •was arrested on order of the coroner and was placed in the j county jail here, w here she was | pending the outcome of the probe. Wickham was shot aud killed at his home at Summerfleld, 15 miles east of here, during an alleged argument with his wife, county authorities said. No one else was in the house at the time, officialsfound.The couple's two small daughters were at school Cofejier Bruback | at first issued a vesfildt of suicide. Further investigation, however, showed a bullet from a .38 calibre revolver had entered the back of the man's neck and come out hlamouth.Mrs. Wickham told authorities . that her lniBband was sitting in a chair before the fireplace and that } | she was working in the room.
