AUTOMOBILE HIT BY STREET GARCLYDE MOORE, OF THIS CITY, DRIVER, ESCAPED INJURY AT INDIANAPOLIS.ACCIDENT SUNDAY NIGHTClyde Moore, of this city, escaped njury Sunday evening, when the auto-11 obi Ie he was driving was struck by i street car at Illinois and Ohio streets n Indianapolis, and knocked into a hole several feet deep. Moore crawled out of the hole, which was near the outhcast corner of the intersection.'ollowing the accident.The automobile, which was owned jy Jack Heppner. of this city, was 1 y damaged. One of the wheels .as broken off. the fenders were bent, lights broken and the body mashed.Police who investigated the acci-1 dent, stated that the hole in the pavement had been dug by workmen repairing one of the water mains of the! Merchants Light and Heat Company, i No a Treat* were made. IJ! Mr. Moore had driven a party of| jShelbyville young woman to Indianapolis. to spend the evening with friends. They had left the machine a short distance from where the accident occurred. Those who made the trip to Indianapolis with Mr. Moore were Mrs. Jack Heppner. Misses Marie and Irene i Heppner. and Miss Alta Crusier.
