__OUTRAGE NEAR KELLS.[BY TKLXORAPH-lAn outrage is reported from Fordstown, five miles from Kells. About seven o’clock on Biioday evening a man knocked at the door of Patrick Simmins aud asked for r pes to raiee a horse that had fallen on the r ad. A brother of Simmins* opened the door, but finding he wan not the man wanted, three shots were fired into the house, wounding Patrick Simmies slightly in the arm and shoulder. One Patrick Brennan was arrested on suspicion, and sent to Trim Jail on remand. The cause of the outrage, as alleged, is that Simmies took some land formerly held by another person.
