Attempted Murder ChargedKINGWOOD, W. Va. (AP) — Junior Sayers, 37, of near Albright was charged with attempted murder Wednesday in connection with a shooting incident involving a deputy sheriff and lodged in the Preston County Jail here in lieu of SIO.OOC bond.Deputy Robert Baylor had gone to Sayers* home Dec. 3 to attempt to serve him wftti two warrants charging driving without alicense .and having a loaded gun in his car.As Baylor knocked on the door, a shotgun Mast ripped through the door, damaging his patrol car but narrowlv missing him.Sayer later gave himself up quifely when Baylor returned with additional officers, police said.
