Two Youths• * A IAre Held In SlayingTwo young men, unrelated, are being held in Robeson County Jail in default of $10,000 bond each on a charge of second degree murder.They are identified as Carvie Lynn Runt, 17, and Hoy Lee Hunt, 24, both of route 1, Fair-monl.They arc charged in the death of Samuel Recce Locklear, 41, of route 3, Fairmont, who was killed sometime early last Saturday morning.Locklear’s body was found by a party of fox hunters, led by Wilton Lewis of Fairmont, in Piney Grove Cemetery between Fairmont and Rowland about 4 a.m. Re had been shot one time in the head with a pistol.Detective Hubert Stone said the men had admitted killing Locklear in the cemetery but declined to relate the motive. A bill of indictment will be presented to the grand, jury January 2.The two Hunt boys will be given a hearing in Lumberton District court Tuesday, December 12.A car involved in the incident was owned by Charles Hunt, but lent to Roy Lee Hunt, and was finally recovered in Baltimore; Md., although the two defendants were arrested at their homes.Participating in the investigation, in addition to Det. Stone, were Det. Ray Priest, and Deputies Jimmy Locklear, Willie Thompson and R. C.Oliver.
