Jensen because she turned over $8,000 in Standard Oil company preferred stock to the son so he could have it transferred into his own name.Mrs. IjUcgUh Norris, guardian of her son. Nelson (Ike) Norris, was the person cited. She was notified by Judge Jensen that the purposs of bringing: her into court was to protect from thb domination of hrr son, who in the past has proved a source of trouble and annoyance to other persons who have served in a like capacity.Judge Jensen warned Norris if lie received further „complaints about him the wrath of the court would fall upon him, and he would be placed where ho would r.ot again have the opportunity to cause anyone any trouble.After securing the stock from his mother, Norris sent it to the Chicago offices of the company for transfer on the books, but the company held up the transantlou and notified local authorities. Judge Jensen ordered court Reporter Clarence Schneider to ad-virc the 'Chicago office of the Standard Oit to return the. stock here to Joseph L. Doyle, clerk of the court.Mrs. Norris had previously tendered her resignation as guardian and a new guardian will probabiy be appointed.The oil stock owned by Norris is part of the government compensation he received as back pay on a monthly pension said to be $1$? per mcnlh. Norris was a member of the navy during the world war and was stntinned at Great Lakes, 111.
