JamesE.Heg of the state reforms-, tory yesterday made the following statement in contradiction of the published report that W. J- Kaniewski, who was recently returned to the reformatory from Stevens Point, was an escaped lunatic: “Kaniewski did not escape. He violated his parole agreement by leaving his place of work to accept other work, without permission. Hence he wa9 returned to the reformatory mainly as an example to other paroled inmates._Celebrate Anniversary.
