Ind., December 7.—JohnConeway was arrested last night at Cedar Lake, charged with forgery, andto-day be was placed under $509 bonds. He baa been In the employ of the Mo non Railway Company for several years as timekeeper. Last Monday he received a Monon check drawn in favor of Benjamin Johnson, and secured payment, as alleged, by forging Johnson's name. The amount involved is S2S.
