Sheriff Mills of Sullivan county arrested George Cory on charge of murdering Eugene Fry, at Alum Cave, in June, 1894. Cory and Fry were paying attentions to the same young lady, but she preferred Cory. In a tit of jeaiously Cory shot Fry through the heart.Several years ago, Edward Voris, postmaster at Crawfordsville, rescued Mrs. Tolman of Minneapolis, Minn., from being killed by a train in Germany. Today Voris received word that she had died and left him $500.
