PHOTO BY CHELSEA BUCHANANThieves cause $1,000 in damageBY STAFF WRITERSHEA JOHNSONBARSTOW • By Pastor David Carr’s estimations, approximately $1,000 worth of damage occurred during a burglary at Lenwood Community Church sometime between 5 p.m. Tuesday and early Wednesday morning.A man who lives behind the church noticed the church door was open Wednesday morning and contacted another church member who, in turn, told Carr at roughly 6:30 a.m.When Carr arrived, he saw the door frame destroyed and a window in the back office shattered.
