^— •'State Police To Recommend Disposition of RewardIn Fay Gates Murder1 BELLEFOKTE, PA„ Dec. 6.—• Centre County commissionershave asked the State Motor Police to recommend disposition of a $5,000 reward offered by Centre County for information leading to solution of the killing of Faye Gates.Four claimants seek the money, asserting their clues resulted in the arrest of Richard Miliinder, 22-year-old WPA worker, who was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the slaying of the young match rac-tory worker near her Mt. Eagle home May 5.The four are Phil Budinger who resides near the scene of the slaying; Joseph Tressel, Beliefonte, a formerState Trooper; Louis E, Heverly, Mt. Eagle; and Elmer Pownell of Yarnell.Tressel and Pownell claim they pointed out Miliinder; Budinger asserted he expressed his suspicions to State Police; while Heverly declared he should get the reward “because, police interviewed him a number of times on a road job where he worked with Miliinder.nThe girl’s beaten body was found in lonely Spook Hollow five weeks after the unsolved slaying of Rachel Taylor, 17-year-old Pennsylvania State College co-ed. Miss Taylor’s body was found in an isolated driveway near State College. Authorities have said the two eases are not connected .
