Discrimination Suit Being TriedA job discrimination suit, filed against the Frostburg National Bank by three women employees, is being tried this week in Federal District Court in Baltimore.Plaintiffs in the action are Sheila D. Grove, Janice K. Vaught and Judith Ann Walker. Mrs. Walker did not return to the bank after taking a maternity leave but the other two women are still employed there.The suit was brought under Title 29. U.S. Code, Section 201, charging job discrimination because ofsex.A court attache said that the plaintiffs have concluded their case anddefense testimony is now being heard.Judge Shirley Jones, who was appointed to the Federal District Court last year by President Carter, is hearing the case.The State Human Relations Commission conducted a hearing last year at Frostburg into the allegations of the three women and supposedly had resolved the differences.
