Hold Five YouthsFor Auto TheftTUSCOLA. 111. — Five Douglas County youths, two of them on probation, are being held in Tu-©umcari, N.M., for local authorities.The two youths on probation are Kenneth Chapman, 18, and hir brother, David, 19. Others involved are a boy, 16. his sister,’17. and another girl now on parole from Geneva.The five were arrested in New Mexico in a car owned by Arthur McCumber, Tuscola, and stolen from a parking place In front of the McCumber home Monday night. They are charged with cartheft.The probation was granted Kenneth Chapman and another youth by Circuit Judge Rodney Scott after conviction of burglary and larceny and over the protest of State’s Attorney H. J McCown. Kenneth was one of five youths who, according to county authorities, had admitted 20 burglaries in the Tuscola area. David Chapman was placed on probation Nov, 15.Douglas County Sheriff Gene Miller went by plane today to Tu-oumcari to return the five to Douglas County.
