The bout went three rounds and Battling Moss was credited with a technical knock-out when Kid Campbell was unable to respond H the bell.Saturday afternoon a young man giving his name as Frank Campbell came into the Edelman-Gib-son store in company with Frank Howell and bargained for some clothing to the amount of about $52. He offered in payment a check drawn on the Treasurer of the East Mine Local -for the amount of $100. The check was accepted and Campbell was given his change.Among the articles purchased was a suit of clothing. The trousers of the suit did not fit exactly and the salesman agreed to take them to Harl Farmer’s tailoring shop to have them altered to hisIraasiire. -Campbell and Howell then left the store. In the meantime Albert Gibson and Hollis Moss held a conference on the advisability of delivering the merchandise until they could determine whether or not the check was a bona fide 'jnstiument.
