N H, Dec 4-In the DistrictCourt here today Joseph Klinos and Stephen Zedalis, charged with first degree murder in causing the death of Jim Stivie, otherwise known as Demetrius Karademos, through their counsel, Ex-Mayor William H. Barry, entered pleas of not guilty and waived examination.The men were arrested in Jersey City last week charged with causing thedeath of Stivie. an employe at the cotton mills of the Jackson Company, during a strike riot the evening of Oct ID.1 noon. On Canal st he was set upon bya number of strikers. His skull was | fractured by a blow, probably from a slungshot. and he died the next morn*ingin St Joseph's Hospital.Stivie had left the mill late in the after- 1 Grand Juryhree suspects were arrested the next day. two of whom were later discharged. The other, Adam Sharpie, was held forthe Grand Jury,, ;The two men arraigned today left the city on the night of the assault and were located by means of a circular letter sent to police departments all through the East. Klinos is alleged by the police to be the man who struck the blow whlcty caused Stlvie’s death.Judge Frank B.
