M.Mr, McMichael called for a report of Mr. Butt—District Attorney—Mr. Butt reported verbally, giving tho Board a clear and particular account of certain claims against the County of Badax.The account of Crawford County allowed to the ainmount of §80,66The following order for the relief of John M. Stokes was passed.The Board of Supervisors of tho Co. of Badax do order and determine as follows, to wit:Thai the sheriff of the Countv of Bad-ax he instructed to receive of John M. Stokes the sum of §150 in satisfactionEVENING SESSION.Allowed the account of W. S. Purdy, for Clerk of Circuit Court, in full, $12,11Tho report of Commissioners of County Poor was adopted.Voted, to allow $25,00 to the Pauper Fund lost by Mr. Frctwell in uncurrent money.A petition from G. Barstow et al, for a new toxfw to be formed from a portion of Wblt;?atland, to be called Genoa, was received.Nov. 15.—The following iesolution was presented by Mr. Whiting and passed .Resolved, That the Commissioners of the Poor be instructed to pay no bills without a voucher, stating for what object the money is paid, and the piice thereof, and that they be further instructed to bring all such bilisand vouchers with their annual report, that they mav be audited j by the proper authorities, and filed away with such report for future reference.C.
