cere here said Short left with Young yesterday by auto and plan ned to reach Colorado Springs this evening. Young is charged in the death of 18-year old Walter Joe Parsons near the Garden of the Gods last January. Young refused to waive extradi tion. Colorado asked he be extra dited and Gov. Allan Shivers of Texas granted the request. Young held up the extradition with a court appeal, then withdrew his objection and agreed to accom pany Short.
