(AP)—State Police chemists today examined stained bed spread recovered-yesterday from Walden by skindiv*Pond by, skindivers searching for clues to the disappearance of Mrs. Joan Risch more than two years ago. /■ ‘Divers found the white spread tied to an anchor in 60 feet of water.Daniel L. Maclnnes,* deputy chief of police, said there were brown stains on the spread which could be blood stains.Walden Pond is less than one mile from the suburban home from which Mrs. Risch, 31, vanished Oct. 24, 1961, leaving behind a blood - stained kitchen. There has been no trace of themother of two since then.• ‘Early in November, skindivers located a hammer head and a five gallon pail in the pond. The divers, members of a Boston skindiving club, have continued their search of the pond. \Police said the hammer head yielded no clues to the fate of Mrs. Risch. .n n
