Iowa, which • I parole he violated and when captured was given a five-year sentence. lt;He was again given his liberty mi, iparole a few months ago upon the} intercession of friends in this city, j ftruce was put on hi- honor and given into the custody of a local barber, in whose shop on Pine street he worked faithfully for about six weeks, during which time he enjoyed the full confidence of the authorl-1 ties and his employer.One morning, pleading illness, he did not put In his appearance at the shop, and when his rooms at the home « f his employer were s» arched ]it was found that be bad absconded It was later discovered that he left ithe city In company with a well-known local g rl, whom he married In Kansas City, before proceeding to Hoisington, where he was again arrested as a parole violator.Hruce has been under indictmentby the grand jury ‘ luce the Septetn-.blt; r session in the district court, andwill he returned here for trial.
