La Crosse, reported to the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department Monday that a chain saw, hydraulic jack and heavy-duty mechanics hammer were stolen from the house on a rural West Salem farm he ownsThere was no evidence of forced entry into the house, a department spokesman said.In another burglary. Mrs. Thomas Muetze. 1720 Lakeshore Drive, said Monday a tackle box and six life jackets were stolen from the family boathouse on French Slough in the Town of Campbell. She estimated the loss at $70.A padlock was broken to gain entry into the boathouse.
