Tuesday the 24-vear-old former convict waived preliminary hearing on two charges before Peace Justice Wilbur P. Lee.In district court later Tuesday Ellis pleaded guilty as charged to kidnapping for the purpose of extortion, and to armed robbery. District Judge John Boyce Mc-Keel sentenced Ellis to serve 15 years in the state penitentiary at McAlester on each count, the sentences to run concurrently.Early Wednesday, PontotocCountv Sheriff Ray Goodwintook Ellis to McAlester to beginserving his time.Ellis admitted to robbing the General Acceptance Company here on August 23 of $164.05 at gunpoint and to comandeering a car driven by George Loftin, gen-Donald Eugene Pybas, 23, AirForce veteran and until recently a resident of Salinas, Calif., was dead on arrival at a local hospital. He was riding the motorcycle and was en route to downtown Ada when the accident occurred.Highway Patrolman H. T. Gay reported that J. W. Miller, Route 4, Ada. was traveling behind Pybas at a high rate of speed andcrashed into the motorcycle.Miller’s car skidded 63 feet before hitting the motorcycle, dragged the vehicle 27 feet down the highway before it slipped to the side and stopped in the middle of the highway.
