Recalls Murder Mystery.According to a newspaper story from Landusky, a human skeleton recently discovered In that vicinity la believed to be that of Abram D. GUI, who mysteriously disappeared about four years ago. and of whom no trace has since been found. The story is in part to this effect:Advices from the Little Rockies report the finding of the skeleton of A. D. Gill, the Landusky stock raiser who mysteriously disappeared from his home there on Oct. 4, 1900, under the floor of an old cabin on an adjoining raoch. They say that the body has been identified from trinkets found near the skeleton. The skeleton of a horse was found in an adjoining cabin.iiuliet holes in the skull and chest tell of the manner in which Gill met his death. Sensational developments are looked for shortly in the way of arrests. Gill’s brothers, who reside in New York state, have followed up clew after clew and a short time ago received word from Norway that a woman there, a former resident of Landusky, had confessed to the United States consul that she was an eye-witness to the crime, being taken to where the two men were quarreling in the mountains by a fractious horse which she was riding at the time.Gill’s partner. Henry Winter, was killed several years ago in his doorway, a short distance from Landusky by the ‘ Kid” Curry gang, and it has been thought for years that they were instrumental in killing Gill, but recent developments have proved otherwise, and the arrest of the murderers will in ail probability be brought ahout within a short time. The finding of the skeleton created a great sensation in the Little Rockies.
