Blaine.The murder was a brutal one. Miss Blaine, who was good looking, was shot as she sat at a writing desk in room No. 342 of the hotel, writing a letter to Andrews’ son, Charles E. Andrews, jr., of Elkhart. It is supposed that Andrews- started to die-*tate the letter. It broke off suddenly as if some dispute had arisen over the wording. The letter was as follows:“Dear Son: We have been intending to write to you on several occasions for the past several days, buthave been too busy. Don’t forget to get my mail at Elkhart as you know I have been receiving it there. I have sent a receipt there from the K. P.;
