Continued from page 8however, pointed out that the school is responsible for the actions of students during school hours.“We are responsible for them from the time they get off the bus until the time they get home,” said Frederick-son.“If they can’t handle the privileges of off-school lunches then they will lose that privilege.”Frederickson said the problem is not with a couple hundred students, only nine or 10 that are causing trouble during the lunch hours.Chairperson Emmy Byle suggested the matter be discussed between superintendent Paul Bergan and WCI principal Darryl Hall.Bergan said Warren Collegiate has plenty of programs for students to take part in during lunch hour, however, a small group of the students don’t get involved.If problems occur this school year, some kids may lose their outdoor lunch privileges said Bergan.“It’s a priviledge to leave (school during lunch) not a right,” said Bergan.
