Senator Jordan Sees Threat To Dam on TetonWASHINGTON lt;AP) - Sen. I.en Jordan, R-TdaKo, says he! fears that a study of the nation’s '‘wild rivers” might result in a ban on construction of the Fremont Dam in the lower Teton River.He sard that the Teton along with thr* -St Joe, Clearwater, Salmon and the North Fork of the Snake in Idaho is included in a fist prepared by the Untamed River Study Commission.Jordan snid that the announcement of the study said that '‘once developed, these streams may lose forever the inherent values for outdoor recreation and related values they now possess/'In a letter to Edward Craft, chairman of the study commis* sion, Jordan said he took those words to mean thnl complete non^J development of the rivers men-, tioned would, be included in the study and protested inclusion of Idaho's working rivers.”
