Nab 2 Fugitives nd Girl FriendCHICAGO—(UR)—Police yesterday captured two escaped prisoners from Monroe, Wash., who escaped arrest last Tuesday at .Fargo, N. D. i JPolice also arrested Gladys j ■ Kayser, 19, Hatton, S. D., mother i of two children who came here with them. The men are John Pape, 23, and George Heck, 21, fugitives from the Washington State Training school.Police, investigating a report that two suspicious men were seen on a downtown street, found Pape with two guns in his pockets and Heck carrying one gun.Police found the girl in a hotel nearby. She is charged with supplying the guns, which Pape and Heck used when they escaped from officers at Fargo. She denied the charges.Clipping Tells of Escape.In the hotel room, police found a clipping from the Fargo Forum describing their arrest and subsequent escape there. They were arrested Tuesday morning by Deputy Sheriff Marvin Erickson at Twin Valley. Minn. Erickson and Sheriff Oscar Bank of Norman county, Minn., drove them to Fargo to be fingerprinted, along with the girl.The officers apparently failed to search the girl's purse, which allegedly contained the guns, j Twenty miles north of Fargo, Pape j and Heck drew guns, forced the j officers from the car and hand- j cuffed them over the limb of a tree. Driving to Glyndon, Minn., they held up Robert Lynde, a farmer, and stole his car after leaving him tied to a tree.Police said Pape and Heck admitted “everything in the clipping except the theft of a radio from Twin Valley.The girl told police she had two children, Kay, 3, and Bonita, 1.i
