Later James Flamini, Panici and Tocco drove to Tieri’s place and met Charles Flamini, Mathes ana Rossi, it was charged. Mathes and Rossi were driven away in Panici’scar to a place on the Chicago South side, police said.Charles Flamini remained behind at Tieri’s place. Tieri told police, according to their report, that he ordered Flamini off his property and didn’t know where he went. The trail ended at that point, and Flamini’s whereabouts were still unknown late yesterday.Tocco, Panici, James Flamini and Tieri were taken to Joliet Tuesday night by Chief Fomanzo and his squad, but all four were reported to have been released early Wednesday morning. Whether they will be rearrested and charged with harboring the fugitives had not been announcedyesterday.Say La Rue Was LeaderThe four prisoners got out of the jail by using the ehd of a cot to batter some of the ancient bricks in a wall. Charles Flamini, Mathes and Rossi were awaiting trial, the first two on charges of robbery. La Rue was wanted in Florida as an escaped convict Mathes and Rossi said he was th#leader 10 the break.
