The Ventura Democrat says:City Trustee Paul Charlebois passed away suddenly at his home j ^ last night at 10:30 o’clock. Though In falling health for months, he had been feeling better of late and last evening was down town mingling with the people after business hours, seemingly even stronger than usual.When the final attack came, although medical aid was speedily summoned, nothing could be done to relieve him.In Mr. Charlebois’ death, Venturai 01pt SIcctr w Ing!loses one of her leading citizens—a , pioneer who had been identified with ; the city and county and their interests i for 40 years or more. He had served the county as sheriff and his home city as trustee, and enjoyed the highest respect and esteem of his fellow-men.
