waste disposal problems created by the backyard burning ban.$6 Million Suit In Heart CaseSAN FRANCISCO ( AP - A widow’s $6 million suit contends her husband died because of the deterioration of an artificial aortic valve placed in his heart.The suit was filed in Superior Court yesterday for Mrs. Osi-ride kiiegl and her three children, Linda, 19; Handy, 16; and Kevin, 12.Defendants are American Hospital Supply Corp., Edwards Laboratories and Dow-Corning Corp., the valve’s manufacturers and suppliers.The suit says Harold Kiiegl, 45, who died Dec. 1, suffered from a rheumatic heart disease and that the operation was performed at Veterans Hospital in Los Angeles. He had been a butcher and a former Marine.Mrs. Kiiegl contends it had been claimed the valve “would last for at least 41 years without wear or fatigue.’*
