VandalismThe board was also informed of vandalism at two of the division’s schools. At Stony Mountain Elementary, where approximately $700 in security equipment was recently installed, vandals broke some windows. Repairs were estimated at $200.At Warren Elementary, children threw stones at a hydro meter, breaking the glass casing. Over at the Collegiate, one of the windows was forced open and a water hose fed through the opening and turned on. Lennox said that the water was left on for about six hours, but no appreciable damage was done.The next meeting of the school board will be on Sept. 14.
