Number One—(Continued from Page 1) two men and a woman fitting the description of the hunted trio came into the store shortly after dark! Monday night. They purchased some cigarets from Mrs. Gertrude Alstad, a clerk, and after strolling about the store for a few moments, walked out. Mrs. Alstad * reported that the man who purchased the cigarets had a scar on his hand. The description of Pape . reveals that he has a scar on the middle j finger of his right hand. The oth- j er two also answered the description obtained by local officials.No other warrants had been issued for the group except those drawn in Clay county Wednesday for kidnaping of Lynde and theft of his car. No complaints havebeen drawn as yet for the abduction of Sheriff Oscar Bang, Ada,! and his deputy, Marvin Erickson,| which occurred Tuesday morning.
