Million-Dollar Law Suit FiledINDIANAPOLIS (UPI) — A million-dollar suit,charging a lack of security in the near downtown Riley Towers Apartments, was filed Tuesday by theadministrator of the estates of a couple murdered thereover a year ago.Robert J. Shu la, administrator of the estates of Earle ' U. ana Gwendolyn H. Robinson Sr., named Riley Towers and the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States as the defendants in the suit filed in Superior Court by attorney Jon A. Krahulik.Krahulik explained Equitable owned the complex.The Robinsons were stabbed to death, Aug. 9, 1975, by intruders, police said. The murders remain unsolved.The suit alleged the complex failed to provide sufficient security, failed to keep the shrubs trimmed to aid in detection of intruders, failed to install proper security lighting, security locks and grills and failed to keep entrances locked and guarded.The $1 million damages were sought for the failure ofthe management to warn residents of dangers involved in living there.The suit also asked $160,800 to cover burial expenses, attorneys fees and administration of the estates and $81,800 to complete construction of a home the couple was building so it can be sold.
