E. Coai company at Cortoof-vllle, the officers found a 50-gallon moonshine still In operation, SO gallons of finished product put up In five gallon cans and 36 bar rels of mash. No one wag In the mine when the raid was made and no arrests were made, but an investigation has bdfen instituted ■ to establish the Identity of the owner of the distillery and to effect his arrest.At the home of Joe Bado, Con norville, a still,, 10 gallons of IWj uor and 16 barrels of mash was confiscated, Bado was given hearing and fined $400 and costs amounting to $46.35. Bado was brought to the county jail today in default of payment.A 100-gallon still, 16 gallons of liquor .and 22 barrels of rnaah were seized when the officers raided the home of Ignatz Schmidt at Connorvllle, Schmidt was placed under arrest.The party stopped a Ford machine near Connorvllle and found five gallons of liquor in It, The driver made his escape, but th car and liquor was confiscated. Another transporter earring 26 gallons of liquor In his car wrlt; arrested and taken before Mayoi George Neel Rt Dillonvalo. He was fined $800 and costs.Following the raids the office of Prosecuting Attorney Roy N. Merryman was notified. The pros, ecutor was 1H and unable to go to Smlthfleld and County Detective William H.
