oA few nights ago, chicken thieves in Prince George county, were very active in plying their vocation. The sufferers were Mr. «T. E. Cousins, who had 29 liens stolen from him; Mr. Thomas Buren lost 20 of the “feathery tribe/1 and Mr. George Sherman 36. The hens were valued at one dollar each.There are no clues to the thief or thieves.There have been several chicken robbers of late at Walnut Hill. In one instance the owner secured services of a bioodhound and the canine followed the trail to the house of a colored man on Halifax street;, but there was no evidence that it was The home of the thief as far as known. --o-— .
