The town of Toto and environs n were greatly stirred up Monday night because of the war clouds which drooped low over the domicile of one Bert Kirkham. A hurry-up call for Deputy Horner and Dr. White announced that Bert had “stove” in the star-board quarter of4his wife’s thoracic cavity. The woman was apparently suffering from injuries, but she would not permit the doctor to make an exam-ation. The good people of that neighborhood are much incensed over the affair. No arrests as yet.1
