Semi-^onthlt Meeting of the City Council.—The City Council held its semimonthly meeting yesterday, President Good-son In the chair. After the minutes of the former meeting were read and approved, the following business was transacted:The claims for services of the Judges at the recent election were allowed.A petition from a private citizen was received, regarding the neglected condition of the Craig Street Cemetery, which was referred to the Committee on Public Improvements, with power to act Lewis Krieger, a German residing in the Fifteenth Ward, was granted permission to peddle in the city without license, on account of physical inability to pursue his trade as cabinetmaker.
