Ordered to Pay Tomatoes ClaimCHICAGO (AP)—Jerald Lansaw► •of Mason City allegedly has failed to pay a claim and interest under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said Friday.The USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service said Lansaw had admitted failure to pay the McAllen Fruit, Vegetable Gin Cop., Inc,, of McAllen, Tex., $2,001 for tomatoes purchased in interstate commerce.The USDA ordered payment of the claim, plus interest. It is this amount which still is due. Until it is paid, Lansaw may not conduct business under the perishable commodities act, the USDA said.ii-*-1
